Campus life
The hours outside the classroom matter just as much
Evenings and weekends are structured, supervised and busy. Every boarder belongs to a house, and every house competes.
Four houses
Every student is assigned to a house on arrival and keeps it until graduation. Houses compete through the year in sport, debating and academics, with the shield awarded each spring.
Sports
Cricket, football, basketball, athletics and swimming, with coaching sessions before class and after prep. Trials for academy places are held each term.
Societies
Debating, science and robotics, art, media and a literary circle, each run by students under a faculty patron and meeting weekly.
Supervised prep
Two hours of quiet study every evening in the boarding houses, with subject teachers on duty for students who need help. Two hours of quiet study every evening in the boarding houses, with teachers on duty.
Health & dining
A resident nurse on campus, a doctor on call, and a rotating menu planned for growing students with dietary needs accommodated.
Family contact
Scheduled calls home, monthly visiting days and a parent portal for attendance, results and notices.
